Terry Fox Run/Walk

Lace your shoes up, Sunway International School is hosting their annual Terry Fox Run this Sunday! Your support, and just RM25 from each family will help Tunku Laksamana Johor Cancer Foundation make great strides in cancer research and care centers.

In 1980, Canadian activist Terry Fox embarked on an East to West cross-Canada run. And ran he did for 143 days and 5,373 kilometres with one leg amputated from the very reason behind his activism journey – cancer. Despite not finishing his quest, Terry Fox managed to raise money and awareness on cancer research.

Our Sunway International School has been a loyal supporter of this event since 2017. This year, they’re making the run even bigger by inviting the students and their families, the local community – and you!
